A native of Texas and
raised right here in Orlando Florida, Dave Cunningham
has a musical repertoire
encompassing many styles and spanning several
decades. Dave has
traveled extensively, entertaining and sharing his musical
talents with many
bands and audiences.
Early on Dave started
out in Gospel music and received several All-State
music awards as a
high school student in Florida. Dave went on to perform in
the chorus of the
Miss Florida pageant doing selections from "The Wiz"
"Annie Get Your Gun"
and "Fiddler On The Roof". After two years in college
as a vocal and piano
major Dave enlisted in the Army and began performing in
local pubs and taverns
while stationed at Fort Richardson Alaska. Making his
way to Nashville was
a natural next step, giving Dave the privilege of
working with many
of Country Music's legendary performers.
After a three year
North American tour with Jim Monett's Arizona Outlaw Band,
and two albums later,
Dave found himself in Las Vegas Nevada spending the next
several years working
virtually every major hotel and casino with
Don Holiman and the
CBS Band.
Dave returned to Orlando
in 1993 and has been performing steadily in the
area ever since. In
addition to his duties with Travelin' Lite Dave also
works with several
local acts, performs as a solo act himself and holds down
a day job as a Stage
Technician at The Disney MGM Studios. Dave is a busy
guy but always happy
to share his music and entertain an audience. "Catch
