The Story
This band can go from a dynamic soul crunching rock and roll tune into a country ballad and have you waltzing around the floor before you even realize what they have done to you. The original band was started over a decade ago, and several musicians have come and gone through the years. Two of the original musicians still remain. However, Tom LaCongo keeps the bass lines nailed down, and Bruce Schuette showcases his talents on Rhythm Guitar. Seven years ago Michael Patterson joined the group, and keeps the drum tempos and mood well in line. Marty Kenney was the last of the puzzle pieces to fit together. Marty joined the group 5 years ago, from California, where he played lead guitar. All four contribute to the solid wall of vocals. A blending of four different musical pasts and influences brings this band to the forefront of today's entertainment needs. Some of their music has a "country roots" basis and others have a "progressive" feel to them, while still others are "bluesy". Not strictly a cover band, these talented guys have a boatload of originals as well. The sounds of original work drift around as much as their selection of cover tunes does. They are highly coveted during patriotic events, as one of their originals about our war vets has been known to bring the whole house to tears every time. Immensely popular among certain crowds, the Band has played numerous "Biker" events, some open to the public, some reserved for a select audience. The group also plays predominantly in Muldoon's, Red Lion, Bridgewater Pub, Lake Monroe Inn (bar out back), and others too numerous to mention. They still remain the most requested band on the "Fraternal" circuit (Eagles, Moose, etc...). And here's some great news. After years of people asking us for tapes or CD's, we now are going into the studio to make not only a CD, but also a Just Us VIDEO! Now you can have all the original Just Us songs on CD and Video. For information call Tom: 407 671-6875 Whether the event is inside, outside, in the heart of the city, or on the shores of a private island, this band has been there, and left them asking for more. They continue to hit the places near and far, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for the adventure that is JUST US!
