While the foundation of this 17 piece band’s repertoire is based firmly in the Classic Swing Dance Era of the 30’s and 40’s, the band also performs a variety of music from the last century’s musical standards through today’s newest hits, with their full-bodied big band sound.

This “Big Band” recreates the excitement of the 1930’s and 40’s with a smooth blend of brass and reed with the vocal styling of the Orlando Sun Sound Singers. Our singers include many of the top musical performers in Central Florida.

The orchestra’s active library (of hundreds of vocal and instrumental compositions) truly brings the brassy big band era boisterously to life, with the most exciting setting of fun and dance.

The orchestra can also provide musical accompaniment to enhance pre-show receptions and cocktail hours with a classical and semi-classical array of string ensembles. Our concept of providing 6 hours of continuous musical entertainment includes the great sounds of 50’s and 60’s Rock & Roll and Country Music.
